The riders that we go with are all going too Quack!

Not sure if we are yet or not. I know Bonnie's brother is putting together a good size group too.

Go question Mike. I have been waiting to hear about it from someone and I have heard nothing other than I know Quack flipped his machine on it. Shocked

It was a good time. They had probably fifteen miles of timber trails up and down some large ravines, and through some pretty muddy creeks. Dave and I were almost the first ones down the trail the first time around and it was awesome! We were pretty well by ourselves! Lots of the two wheel drivers were getting stuck and slowing things down behind us, and we caught up to them on our second lap and had to wait in several places. I got a bit impatient and charged up a steep slope, my tires caught a root and bounced my front end sideways ..i tried to ride it out, but no luck Sad I ended up jumping off and rolling for my life to the bottom of the rivine, and still ended up with the atv on me. Pretty much just the front tire on my chest, and I was wearing my helmet thank god, so I wasn't injured badly, just some road rash and brusies. The trails were really torn up the second time around, and were less fun/ more fun depending where you were. Some of the ruts gong up the hills were over a foot deep, and people were getting stuck and really backing up riders. I would say there were several hundred machines there, hard to actually get a count cause it's pretty spread out. Thanks to rando's tires on my atv I never had to be pulled out, and actually broke trails where the guys with the big fancy quads were standing around scratching their heads wondering if they could make it or not!!
I would def do it again, and probably will this fall. Sorry no pics, as it was just the two of us, we were pretty involved in what we were doing!

Sounds about right. I will get hooked up with you guys come fall and we'll go on the ride. I love riding in the fall. Sounds like you guys had a good time. The 2wd quads can always be a pain but that was always when it was time to have a cold one or 6 and laugh at them trying to make it. Although I was a 2wd last time we went and I made it threw everything just fine! Smile

Not just 2wd, it was the dunbazzes with teh racing style 2wd, a regular full size wheeler with good tires would have made it. I will tell you that I thought about not wearing a helmet, and I won't ever think about not wearing it anymore!

Yeah that is prolly a wise choice on the helmet. We almost never wear them and it isn't really too smart. bom
