Hey all,

I am at a crossroads with my quad and I am considering saying goodbye to it. She and I have had a heck of a ride and I really do hate to see her go but I have a lot of family members that would like for me to have my quad back to do some riding. Myself included.

Sooo, I just don't know if it is even worth trying to jack with my quad now. Fact is it prolly needs 750 to 1000 dollars in parts to really get everything fixed up on it that has been used up over the years. ...

I just got my order for rear tire chains and while reading the installation directions I noticed it said don't exceed 5 mph!! I didn't plan on hailing azz with these one but planned to use them while ice fishing when the conditions warrant them. what speeds do you guys roll when the chains are on? on a side note I took the quad out for a run today on the gravel roads around town and got her up to 52 mph... (censored) cold on the nose even with a scarf not bad for hauling my big carcass

I have not yet had a chance to personally talk with this member but I'm sure that due to the fact they are associated with the Yall ATV rides in Canton that I have been on that they have to be good people.

So well and make yourself at home. There are several atv lovers around here and some people coming down to the ride here in a couple weeks.

Hope to run into you soon!

I should probably get some winching stuff like straps, pulleys etc... any suggestions would be appreciated

well I finally got her home the other day. can't wait to kick up some snow on the hard water. thanks for all the advice on my questions . I ended getting a lock and ride cargo box for the rear rack, rack extensions for the front for auger mount, trailerable cover, lock and ride windshield, throttle and grip heaters. all told probably too much for a toy that won't help me catch any more fish but at least I will be able to get back to the truck faster after getting skunked
