Added a little poll to your question Trav.
You're the only fan I know so I had to vote one.
He sure is having one heck of a year! I'm really surprised how well JGR came out with the Toyotas and is keeping his 3 hotheaded drivers in line. I kind of like Kyle out there, he spices it up a little and doesn't care about anyone, he's in it for the win and it's been working.
Would you have been happy if Gordon won? _________________

| I agree, he is in it for the checkered flag. But I have not liked him or his brother since day 1. Buit I guess they are calling the new age of NASCAR.
My dad said when they went to Talladega, he seen maybe 1 person with any of his apparel on. His shirt trailer was a ghost town, and did you see all the crap hitting the track last night when the declared him the winner!!! I think it is obvious his following isn't to big, even though he has won 6 races so far this season.
I would rather have Gordon in victory lane before the Busch brothers, but I am always rooting for the 20 and 88 |

| Yeah, I know what your saying Travis! Neither Busch boy fits my style and I laugh when someone like Juan just flat ass blasted him into the fence last weekend. Now that funny (censored)! Maybe if a couple more guys would do that it couldn't hurt!
However if he had a different additude there is no way I couldn't be a fan! The boy can flat out drive a racecar and he gets props from me for that. However if he comes near me on the track, or in the grocery store. I'LL PUT HIM IN THE WALL! _________________ Randy Ellison

| If he is winning he soon will have a big following. I do not really know much about him. But after the race last night and his actions I think I hate him now. _________________ There is only one way to catch fish you have to be on the ice |

| Driver or not, his arrogant attitude ruins him, in my opinion. At this point I would rather see ANYONE else get the win but him. I don't wish bad for anyone, but he is truly an ass. |

| I'm feeling a little better now and have caught up on some sleep so I'll give a little report on the race.
We got to the track around 9:00pm after driving through some nasty storms, had lots of funnel clouds dropping out of the sky and lightning everywhere! We get to the gate to the infield and they won't let us in, the drug dogs or bomb dogs, whatever they sniff, couldn't do their job in the rain. So after an hour or so they got everything moved to the underground tunnel and we finally got in.
It was a good time, but the one problem with the night race was waiting around for the race. Friday wasn't bad cause we had Cup practice and happy hour along with the Nationwide qualifying then the race to finish up the night. Saturday was much cooler but they didn't have anything going on through the day on track except for the Petty driving school.
All in all we had a blast with a TON of laughs with the guys and it's one of the few places where I've been where everyone is so happy and you can just walk up and talk to anyone or have people stop by your campsite and chat. In the last 5 years of going up there I have never seen one fight or even close to it and you wouldn't think that would be possible with a bunch of rednecks and all the beer being consumed.
I think one of my favorite experiences with going to the race is the National Anthem, followed by the flyover, and then the first drop of the green flag.
There were many of our troops there in uniform, we gave many a thanks and a handshake. People would stop what they were doing and give them a round of applause when a whole bunch would walk through. It felt pretty good to be a part of it. _________________
