PostSubject: New Dish Network Fishin' Channel?   Wed Jun 30, 2010 7:26 pm

Tressa was flipping channels and ran across the World Fishing Network (WFN) on channel 390. I think the channel may have been called something else before, but had less fishing related programming. Just watched a show called "Getting School'd with JP DeRose". He was fishing for giant smallmouths. There was even a segment by KVD on the show talking about differant baits. Not sure if anyone has ever seen this show before, but I was very impressed. Had a ton of information in it. Right now there is a show about the oil spill in the gulf and its impact on the fishing industry.

But what I am looking forward to is their "Big Bass Monday!" There is a Skeeter Bass Champs show, and another one called "Lost Lake" that is the same thing as A Day On the Lake by BASS. It looks like this channel follows the FLW tour as well. Channel may be common to everyone else, but I've never seen it. Check out their programming below.

WFN Channel

Hmmm. I'll have to look around, I have Direct TV, not sure if it's on there or not.
