Good question S. I know what I put in mine which was 87 octane and I think it has no ethanol. But I am not for sure on that. This has become quite a quandry really. Rolling Eyes

My cousin works at the oil and gas tanker storage facility here in the Quad Cities, it's up river by Aloca, anyway. Amoco's ultimate is the only non-ethonal gas they off load. Sinclair, Conoco, Shell, Kwik Shop, all have 10% Eth added to it and all these fuels, except Ultimate, are pumped thru the same lines. He says unless you see a posted sign or the owner of the gas station tells you "no eth" . . it's in there . . .

I guess what I'm trying to say is . . IM SO CONFUSED ! ! ! scratch Question scratch Question

I wish there was a simple test strip or something you could dip in the fuel to check for eth . . .

I think we all are Bob.

Well I have access to amoco ultimate so maybe that is what I will start using.

I have heard that several times about the all other companies doing the same thing.

(censored) here is WP the BP gas delievery truck when it is done pulls across the street to the Sinclair station and starts offloading. Does that mean they are both selling the exact same fuel. Don't really see how it can't. I really don't understand the fuel buisness period.

    Just an FYI...

There are two articles about Ethanol, page 14 and page 78 in the new Nov. 09 BassMaster mag.

Check your mailbox Randy! It's here.
