Hopefully the new charger doesn't just give it enough juice to get you out on the ice and then die on ya after sitting cold for a few hours. Don't want to worry you, but without the pull start I would hate to see you get stranded way out. Maybe make sure you have help nearby, or possibly invest in one of those jumpstarter deals. Idk what they cost, but they can be a lifesaver. I should get one myself just for the boat or truck, just never know.

Ya, I am thinking exactly like B! That battery is probably weak, at best. You could take it off and to a local O'riellys or somewhere. They could test it and see if it is good. Course, they may tell you it isn't even if it is! sad
I can't believe they make an ATV without a pull start!

it started up tonight after work. I bought a trickle charger/maintainer to keep her charged up when not in use. hopefully this will take care of the problem

Very wise investment. Specially when it doesn't get out all the time. You should know pretty quick. Once you have a good charge in it I'd leave it off the charger for a couple days. If she is good to go then that battery is likely fine. Otherwise she'll be weak again and you'll know to just replace it.
