    Hey all,

Not sure how many of us here have atv's but I am wondering about the pro's and cons of all of your models.

I can't believe the amount of Polaris fans I am seeing on the WWW. WTH, Polaris was always junk when we road a lot. You wanna find the guy that can't keep up or make it up the rediculous hill or threw the creek. Look for the guy on the Polaris, he's gonna need a push or a winching or something.

Have they improved there machines over the last few years? I haven't been on a Polaris in about 3 years.

Just wondering. I love to talk about atv's so just put out there whatever info you want on your machine. I also wonder about Scout's KingQuad I think it was. I haven't seen Al around much lately but I was wondering if he is liking that machine a lot, I really haven't ever known anyone that owned one.

The one thing I will say is that if you want a utility machine that can ride wheelies like a sport quad look no further than the Praire 650. Man that thing is a wheelie riding machine and has excellent front to rear balance. You can ride a wheelie on that thing for as long as the road stays straight. It is a blast!

I know, I know, I am acting like a damn kid again! :bang_head: I am not quite ready to give up on my childhood yet.

Back on a different topic. Mike and Chad, I road a brand new Honda Rancher 450 automatic the other day. For someone that is not wanting the fastest and sportiest machine on the market I would definately look at that machine. Price is right on them right now and knowing that it is a Honda, I'll pretty much guarantee you that you can't break it. Just something to think about.
I tend to lean toward smaller machines, I really don't think you need 850cc's on your atv unless your planning on making it a daily driver or something. All it really adds is maybe a little low end torque(which most machines already have tooo much of). I can roast the tires on my 400 in 4wd on pavement so how much more torque do you really need. Top end speed is the biggerst gain in the high cc machine but again, how often do you run your atv at 60+ mph. Don't get me wrong it is fun as hell but most places are just to tight and dangerous to be going that fast. (At least where we ride!)

OK I am just rambling now. There is something for all of you to read! :chat:
