Well I made it the whole way south to hang out with Randy and Bonnie Sunday, and as always we had a great time! I'm pretty sure my riders eyes got pretty big a couple of times, but she had a blast too I think...and I know my buddy Dave did. I hope you took one thing away from having us there though...you really can't leave Dave and I alone to long..or we're going to get in trouble!!

Dave after we sat to long Smile

I am the sexiest man alive!!

Breann kinda looks like she has a real smile

Part of the group hanging out while randy tried to master the wheelie on the rincon.

Dave likes miller lite...but not in painted cans

    Well,

as John stated. We hit the trail again yesterday. Seemed like it wouldn't be a very nice one with the cool temps and winds blowing around 25 MPH. Didn't turn out half bad though and it didn't get cold till late in the evening. After John, Breann, and Dave left we went back out on the trail for some night riding and then it got cold! Shocked Luckily the fire we started on a sandbar with some signal flairs around 5 hours earlier was a raging blaze when we got back to that sandbar. Shocked I have a feeling that big tree Savanna was loving my be a bit smaller this morning. fire I'll post more later as I get moving. I even have some video of the sand surfing this time. Wink

Sweet! Thanks for the info John! If you wanna group to hook up with I know all them guys that went yesterday will be riding it and would have no problem with havin another few riders in the group. The more riders you have the more fun it is generally speaking.

I do not know if I'll be riding it yet. Since I just found out about the ride yesterday I may not have time to get off work but we'll see what happens.

I'll keep in touch. Everyone is riding down on our ground next Saturday afternoon and evening with prolly a bar trip stuck in there somewhere. woo hoo

Oh and BTW. This deal is huge from what they was saying.

800 atv's and 1000 total riders last year. It is all for a good cause and last year they raised something like $23,000.00 for cancer research or something like that. (Don't remember all them figures for sure I was a little drunken ) Sounds like a very cool thing to be involved with. I have never been on a ride with 800 quads. :face:

Ok I got some pics and video uploaded.

Its pretty raw and right from our digital still camera as I don't take the video camera on these rides.

Just wanna say thanks to you guys for coming down and I hope we didn't scare your new lady friend off John. She seemed like a trooper considering. Some of the crap we decided to go threw. I would have never guessed we'd all make it threw a couple of them crossings.

    Bonnie just chillin!

    Quack and the misses! cheers

Savanna playing on the tree that we lit the roots on fire of about 3 ish. When we went back around 8 that night it was burning nicely. It's a large tree!

Here are the video's. Never done this before by just posting them off photobucket so we'll see.

Yep, welcome to the wonderful world of aftermarket anything. Shocked It's rediculous how much it costs to replace anything on them.

I may have just the thing for your seat John. We didn't bring them yesterday just cause we forgot to load them. They a custom made azz pad that has ties for on the rack. Very soft too. Put that on first and then put your new rack bag over it and chances are she'll be much happier. Wink I think I can get another one for ya from Gramps.

Hard on the azz and back anyway no matter who you are until you get used to riding. You can use a lot of muscles that you otherwise don't while draggin wheelers threw crap like that. I am always a touch sore the day after a good ride.

Well, the wheelin was fun while it lasted. Sad

Back to wrenchin. I got some work to do if my quad is gonna be ready for this weekends ride.

Today I took it out to check on the trails for next weekend. Man the water was up some and the trails were soft. That wasn't the half of it though. Next thing I know I am hearing a giant clunck and I have no drive line again. Different deal this time though. I shift it into 4 x 4 and it takes off. I right now have a front wheel drive atv. Not so good.

Something has broke in the rear drive line. Like a drive shaft or gear or something. I am gonna start tearing it down tomorrow but getting parts fast for an atv are almost impossible. If anyone knows of a good shop with lots of yamaha parts in stock let me know.

This is the reason why you buy a new quad when you can. They take such a beating. Bang Head
