well after careful consideration and all the good input from you guys, I pulled the trigger last night on a 09 polaris sportsman xp 550 camo with 3500# winch w/ a 50" blade, and grip heaters. I will also be getting a lock and ride rear cargo box, windshield, and cover. my brother called me a redneck for buying this before getting the trailer to haul it with doh

Awesome Mike! I'm sure your really lookin forward to cold weather now!

You'll love those grip heaters if they're anything like the ones my dad has on his, most the time you have to run them on the low setting cause your hands get too hot.

I doubt I'll use it much other than winter. I don't really have any friends around here who ride atv's. so pretty much just ice fishing and moving snow. maybe 30-40 miles a year depending on how much I go end to end on Brushy.

    I'll tell you what!

If I had the cash right now I would get me a Polaris Ranger Razor. We must have seen 15 of them all brand new yestarday and them things rock for a side by side. Fast and torque and just look like a friggin blast to ride. I seen on more than one occasion them go blasting right past stuck atv's like nothing and that is not at all typical of a side by side. I have a feeling polaris really did a good thing coming out with that model. Wink
